The 68001-404HLF: Each contact is rated 3 A continuous. The mating finish is 100 µinch tin over phosphor bronze — that thickness gives a solid oxide barrier for signal-level currents in moderate environments. The post finish is tin as well, so the solder joint wets reliably to the board pad.
Push-pull retention — no latch, no secondary lock. In a low-vibration bench or panel application, the friction fit of the receptacle is enough. For a harness that sees motion, add a strain-relief or tie-down on the cable side.
The base product number is 68001; the -404HLF suffix specifies 4 positions, tin plating, and the HLF (high-temperature, lead-free) option.
