In a 36-position harness carrying logic-level signals (GPIO, SPI, I²C, sensor data), the per-contact current rarely exceeds a few hundred milliamps, so the 3 A rating provides ample margin.
The base product number 68001 covers the single-row BERGSTIK® II family — other position counts (10, 20, 34, 40, etc.) share the same footprint pitch and contact geometry, so a BOM change to a different position count is a direct drop-in if the board layout allows.
