It uses the industry-standard 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch on both the mating interface and the row spacing, so the footprint matches a wide range of legacy and current PCB layouts. The mating contacts are finished with 30.0 µ" (0.76 µm) of gold or Gold, GXT™ — a plating grade that supports repeated mating cycles without contact fretting, making it a fit for assemblies that see field service or test reconnections.
This header is unshrouded with a push-pull fastening type, so it mates with any standard 0.100" pitch, dual-row female socket that accepts 0.025" square pins — the BERGSTIK II receptacle housings or equivalent. The 0.318" (8.08 mm) mating pin length provides enough engagement depth for a secure connection with most industry-standard receptacles. Termination is solder to through-hole; the 0.110" (2.79 mm) post length is sized for standard PCB thicknesses.
