Rated 5 A per circuit at 110 V, the current capacity is typical for a signal-density header at this pitch — the 54 pins at 5 A each sum to a theoretical 270 A across the connector, but the practical limit is set by the total temperature rise across the row, not the per-contact rating.
Board footprint and orientation
The 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch is a standard grid — the footprint matches the legacy 0.100" x 0.100" hole pattern used across the BERGSTIK family. The right-angle through-hole termination requires the board to have a slot or edge clearance for the pins to exit at 90°.
Termination is through-hole solder — no press-fit option on this variant. The square pin shape provides four contact points per circuit in the mating receptacle, which is the standard BERGSTIK interface.
No end-of-life notice or last-time-buy window is in effect.
