BERGSTIK II Header — 18 Circuits, 0.100" Pitch, Right-Angle Through-Hole
Tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts carry a 5 A per circuit rating at 110 V, with a 100.0 µin (2.54 µm) tin finish on the mating surface — a robust thickness for moderate-cycle, fixed-install applications. The black housing is rated UL94 V-0.
The 18 positions match an 18-circuit BOM line; the dual-row layout means 9 pins per row, giving a connector body about 0.900" (22.86 mm) wide. The 110 V voltage rating is a conservative ceiling for the 0.100" pitch in an unshrouded header; creepage and clearance are adequate for typical 5 V, 12 V, and 24 V logic and control circuits.
Common mating halves include the BERGSTIK II receptacle housings and the industry-standard 0.100" pitch IDC connectors used with 2.54 mm ribbon cable. The right-angle through-hole termination requires a PCB with plated through-holes on a 0.100" grid; the 0.110" (2.79 mm) solder tail length suits standard 0.062" (1.6 mm) thick boards.
