The FCI BERGSTIK® II 68023-417HLF is a 17-position, single-row unshrouded header on a standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch, designed for board-to-board interconnects. The contacts are square male pins with a tin mating finish and tin solder tails, rated 5 A per circuit.
For a one-time board-to-board connection inside an enclosure, tin is fine. The right-angle orientation gives a 90-degree cable exit off the board edge, useful when the mating receptacle sits on a parallel board and the stack height is set by the 0.136" (3.45mm) mating pin length.
The through-hole solder tails are 0.305" (7.75mm) long, sized for standard 0.062" to 0.093" PCBs. No crimp tool needed; it's soldered directly into the board. The unshrouded design means there's no polarization key — verify the pin 1 orientation against the mating half during layout.
