It sits on the standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch — the same spacing as breadboard and perfboard grids, so it drops into a 0.100" footprint without a custom layout. Rated 5A per contact at 110V, with 30.0µin (0.76µm) gold plating on the mating surface: that plating grade is thick enough to handle repeated insertion cycles without the contact fretting you'd see with thin gold or tin on a board that gets reworked. The through-hole solder tails are 0.183" (4.65mm) long, and the overall contact length is 0.513" (13.03mm). Housing is black UL94 V-0 rated thermoplastic.
On site, if you're replacing a damaged header, the through-hole tails re-pin cleanly with a desoldering station and a basic kit — no special tooling needed.
It's RoHS compliant.
The 68031-103HLF is the 3-position version of the same header — same 0.100" pitch, same 5A rating, same 30.0µin gold plating, same through-hole termination. If your board has a 3-pin footprint, the 103HLF is the one; if you need a 2-pin jumper or power tap, this is it. No other parametric differences between the two — same overall contact length, same insulation height, same UL94 V-0 material.
