The 68405-472 is a 72-position BERGSTIK® II unshrouded header from FCI / Amphenol, designed for board-to-board interconnects. It uses a dual-row, 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch layout with all positions loaded, making it a direct fit for standard 0.100" grid PCB patterns.
The push-pull fastening type gives a simple friction fit; there is no locking latch for vibration-prone environments. Right-angle mounting places the connector body at 90° to the PCB, so the mated board sits parallel to the main board. This is common in riser-card or mezzanine arrangements where the secondary board plugs in vertically. The 0.190" (4.83 mm) insulation height and 0.230" (5.84 mm) mating pin length give a specific stack height — verify the mating receptacle's depth and the board-to-board clearance against your assembly.
