The Molex 68498-115H is a 15-position, single-row unshrouded header from the BERGSTIK® II series, built on the standard 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch. It terminates through-hole, right-angle to the board, with male square pins.
The 0.100" pitch matches the legacy DIP IC footprint — a drop-in for 0.1-inch grid perfboard or standard through-hole layouts. Single-row means the board footprint is narrow, with the 15 pins in a straight line. Unshrouded, so the pins are exposed — no polarization keying; the mating connector relies on manual alignment.
Current and voltage rating
The 30 µ" gold plating keeps contact resistance stable over repeated mates, which matters more for signal integrity than for raw current capacity. For power duty above 5 A per pin, a heavier-gauge contact or wider pitch would be needed.
