It uses the industry-standard 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch and a right-angle through-hole mounting orientation, making it a direct fit for prototyping boards, perfboard layouts, and legacy 0.100-inch grid designs. The 2-position count is minimal — this header is typically used for single-pair power feeds, signal jumpers, or board-edge test points where only two circuits are needed. The black UL94 V-0 rated housing and phosphor bronze contacts with 30.0 µ" gold or GXT™ plating on the mating surface give it a solid 5 A per circuit rating at 110 V, suitable for low-current supply rails or signal-level switching inside an enclosure.
The 5 A per circuit rating is governed by the contact cross-section and the UL94 V-0 housing's temperature rise limits; for a 2-position header this is enough for a small PSU output or a signal pair, but derate above 25 °C ambient.
This is an unshrouded male pin header with push-pull fastening.
