Each male square pin is rated 5 A per contact at 110 V, with the 30.0 µin (0.76 µm) gold or Gold, GXT™ plating on the mating surface supporting repeated mating cycles and corrosion resistance in field-service or controlled environments.
The 70-position count at 2.54 mm pitch gives this header a higher density than a standard 34- or 40-position dual-row header in the same BERGSTIK II family. The right-angle post length of 0.090" (2.29 mm) and mating pin length of 0.230" (5.84 mm) set the board-to-board spacing and the depth the header reaches into the mating receptacle.
The 0.090" (2.29 mm) post length is suited for standard PCB thicknesses around 1.6 mm (0.062"). The UL94 V-0 rated black insulation (0.190" / 4.83 mm standoff height) provides flame resistance for equipment inside an enclosure.
