The Amphenol 68697-450HLF is a 50-position, dual-row unshrouded header from the BERGSTIK® II series, designed for board-to-board interconnect on a standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch. Tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts carry a 5A per-circuit rating, with a 110V voltage ceiling — adequate for signal-level power distribution in digital logic or low-current I/O.
Right-Angle Orientation and Board Layout Fit
The right-angle mounting places the 0.230" (5.84mm) mating pin length and 0.125" (3.18mm) solder post on perpendicular axes, so the header sits flush against the board edge with the pins extending parallel to the PCB plane. The 0.100" row spacing matches the column pitch, giving a symmetrical 0.100" x 0.100" grid that routes cleanly on a single-layer or double-sided board.
Tin-on-tin contacts are cost-effective for low-cycle-count applications.
