It uses square male pins on the standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch — the same spacing as breadboard and legacy perfboard, so the footprint drops onto a 0.1" grid without layout surprises. All 20 positions are loaded; no partial-population variant to track.
Through-hole solder termination, with a 0.095" (2.41mm) post length — that's a short tail, meant for standard 1.6mm PCBs where the solder joint sits close to the board surface. The overall contact length is 0.395" (10.03mm), with 0.200" (5.08mm) of that as the mating pin. Unshrouded, so the pins are fully exposed — good for probing during bring-up, but no keying or polarization. The push-pull retention is just the friction of the pin in the receptacle contact; no latch.
Compliance and ratings
RoHS compliant per the manufacturer's standard declaration. The 110V voltage rating and 5A current rating are per-contact limits at ambient; derate above 25°C per the product drawing. Storage temperature range is wider than the operating envelope — the connector sits unpowered on the shelf.
