The 10 positions are fully loaded — no empty cavities to manage. The 2-wall shroud is a partial enclosure that leaves the pin tips exposed on two sides. This is common for wire-to-board headers where the receptacle housing provides the full enclosure; the shroud prevents pin bending during blind mating.

The square pin shape is standard for crimp-to-wire receptacle terminals in the Mini-PV™ system.
The same Mini-PV™, Basics+ series offers 9-position (69167-109HLF), 12-position (69167-112HLF), and 15-position (69167-115HLF) variants with identical pitch, plating, and shrouding. The 10-position version sits between the 9- and 12-position options — a common size for I/O or power distribution where 10 circuits match the cable count.
