Position Count and Pitch for BOM Fit
The 8-position count is a common BOM line for signal or low-power I/O. Compared to the 6-position sibling (69168-106HLF), this part adds two more circuits in the same 0.100" row spacing — useful when you need to break out an extra pair of sense or control lines without changing the board footprint pitch. The 2.54mm pitch is the standard 0.100" grid, which means the PCB footprint matches legacy through-hole layouts and can be routed on a 2-layer board without micro-vias.
