40-position SMT receptacle in the Dubox series
The 71609-320ALF is the 40-circuit dual-row member of Amphenol ICC's Dubox board-to-board receptacle line, mating with Dubox pin headers at 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch. Gold-plated mating contacts (30.0 µ in) on phosphor bronze terminals, with a tin post finish (78.7 µ in) for solder termination. The glass-filled thermoplastic housing carries a UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
Board fit and routing density
The 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch and 0.100" (2.54mm) row spacing set the board footprint — the same grid as standard 0.100" headers, so the trace channel width between pads is consistent across the series. Right-angle SMT termination places the receptacle parallel to the board edge, keeping the mated stack within the board outline. Pick-and-place compatible packaging (Tape & Reel) supports automated assembly; the push-pull fastening allows unassisted mating and unmating without hardware.
