This 10-position header sits between the 6-position (71918-106LF) and 14-position (71918-114LF) siblings in the same Quickie™ series. A 30-position variant (71918-130LF) also exists in the series, but the 10-position is the most common for medium-density signal harnesses where the cable bundle width matters.
Through-Hole Termination and PCB Mounting
The mounting flange provides additional mechanical anchor to the board, reducing stress on the solder joints when the cable is handled. The 4-wall shrouding acts as a natural keying guide — the mating receptacle (typically a Quickie™ IDC socket, e.g., 71600 series) slides in only one orientation, preventing mis-mating. No separate polarizing key is required for the header side.
