The contacts are phosphor bronze with 30.0µin (0.76µm) gold GXT™ plating on the mating surface, rated for 5A per circuit at 110V.
The 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch is the standard breadboard-compatible spacing — this header drops into a 0.100" grid of plated through holes without needing a custom footprint. The 3-position count is the BOM line match: one position per circuit, all positions loaded. The 5A per circuit rating is the thermal limit at the contact; for a 3-position header, total current through the connector is 15A distributed across the three pins, but each pin is individually rated at 5A. The 110V rating is the working voltage between adjacent pins at the 2.54mm pitch — adequate for typical logic-level and low-voltage power interconnects.
Through-hole mounting with solder termination. The contact length — post is 0.100" (2.54mm), the mating length is 0.225" (5.72mm), and the overall contact length is 0.425" (10.80mm). The post length is the depth the pin extends below the board — it determines the board thickness the header fits through for wave or hand soldering.
