It uses the standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch that matches legacy through-hole footprints and mates with a wide range of IDC receptacles and female socket strips. The pins are square-profile phosphor bronze with a 30.0µin (0.76µm) gold GXT™ finish on the mating surface — the GXT™ is a hardened gold alloy that extends mating cycle life beyond standard gold for repeated connect/disconnect in test equipment or modular assemblies.
The 0.100" pitch and single-row layout mean the footprint is a straight line of 36 plated through-holes on 2.54mm centers — no second row to route between. The 0.225" (5.72mm) mating pin length gives enough engagement depth for standard box headers and receptacles. The overall contact length of 1.225" (31.12mm) with a 0.900" (22.86mm) post length suits boards up to about 1/16" thick; for thicker boards the post may sit proud on the solder side.
Ratings and Environment
Rated 5A per contact at 110V — the current is per-pin, so a fully loaded 36-position header can carry up to 180A total if the board traces and mating connector are sized for it.
