The 75160-127-36LF is a 36-position, single-row BergStik® unshrouded header from FCI — part of the long-running BergStik family of board-to-board interconnects. The 36 loaded positions on one row make this a dense signal interconnect for parallel board stacking or cable-to-board transition where the board edge has the room for a long single-row footprint. Rated 5 A per contact at 110 V, with a -65°C to 130°C operating range and a UL94 V-0 thermoplastic housing.
What the 36-position single row means for layout
A 36-position single-row header is longer than most — the overall contact length is 0.465" (11.81 mm) with a mating pin length of 0.260" (6.60 mm) and a solder post of 0.105" (2.67 mm). That long pin row means the board footprint needs a straight line of 36 plated through-holes at 0.100" pitch, spanning about 3.5 inches. The unshrouded pins are exposed, so the mating receptacle needs to align cleanly — there's no shroud to guide it. Compare this to the 10- or 20-position single-row siblings in the same BergStik series: the footprint is identical in pitch and hole pattern, just longer. The 36-position version is for applications that need a high signal count in a single row rather than splitting across two rows.
No latch, no polarization: the retention is the friction of the contact beams.
