Board-to-Board Header for Standard 0.100" Grids
The Amphenol 75160-826-04LF is a 4-position, single-row, unshrouded male pin header from the BERGSTIK® series. It is a board-to-board interconnect, designed to mate with a matching female socket on a 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch grid. The unshrouded design means there is no plastic wall around the pins, so the mating orientation is defined entirely by the PCB footprint — a common choice for low-profile, general-purpose board stacking or wire-to-board applications where a separate housing is used. Rated at 5 A per contact with a 110 V voltage rating, this header carries enough current for typical signal and moderate-power duties on a standard 0.100" pitch. The 15.0 µin gold GXT™ plating on the mating surface provides a corrosion-resistant, low-contact-resistance interface suited for repeated mating cycles in controlled environments.
Through-Hole Termination and Board Fit
Termination is through-hole solder, with a post length of 0.112" (2.84 mm) below the insulator. The overall contact length is 0.825" (20.95 mm), with a mating pin length of 0.613" (15.57 mm). This gives enough pin exposure to mate with standard box headers or crimp-socket housings while leaving a solid post for soldering into a plated through-hole. The insulation height of 0.100" (2.54 mm) keeps the header low on the board. The header is unshrouded and uses a push-pull fastening type, meaning retention relies on the friction of the mating contact, not a latch. For applications where vibration is a concern, a mating connector with a positive lock or a secondary retention feature should be considered.
Material and Environmental Ratings
The housing is molded from thermoplastic with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, suitable for equipment inside an enclosure where flame retardance is required. The operating temperature range of -65°C to 130°C covers most industrial and commercial environments. The contacts are phosphor bronze with a gold GXT™ mating finish, a standard combination for reliable signal-level interconnects.
