36-Position BERGSTIK® Header — Board-to-Board Fit
The 75168-307-36LF: All 36 positions are loaded, so the BOM position count matches the pin count directly. The through-hole, right-angle orientation places the pin row perpendicular to the PCB surface. This is the typical choice for board-edge mezzanine stacking or daughtercard connections where the cable or mating header routes parallel to the main board.
The mating contacts are tin-plated with a thickness of 78.7 µinch (2.00 µm). For higher cycle counts or corrosive environments, a gold-plated sibling in the BERGSTIK® family would be the better choice. The contact material is phosphor bronze, which provides good spring properties and corrosion resistance for the tin-plated interface.
