It uses the standard 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch on both rows and between rows, making it a direct footprint match for the ubiquitous 0.100" grid. As a breakaway, you can snap the strip to the exact position count your board needs, though this part ships as a full 32-position stick. It's a through-hole solder part, rated for 5 A per contact with a 110 V voltage rating.

The 30.0 µinch gold GXT™ plating on the mating surface is the feature that sets this apart from a standard tin-plated header. That thickness of gold, over 0.76 µm, is rated for hundreds of mating cycles — it's the right choice for a board that gets reworked, a test fixture, or any interconnect where the connector sees repeated matings. The phosphor bronze contact base adds spring resilience. The unshrouded design keeps the profile low — the insulator sits 0.100" above the board — but gives no keying or polarization, so the mating receptacle must be aligned by the board layout alone.
