Product Introduction
It uses a standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch with matching 0.100" row spacing, making it footprint-compatible with a wide range of industry-standard receptacles.
This header is unshrouded, meaning the square pins are exposed — the mating connector must be a shrouded receptacle to protect the contacts from damage during handling or mating.
The BERGSTIK series is a general-purpose pin header used in board-to-board stacking, wire-to-board harnesses (with a matching crimp receptacle), and as a programming/test header on prototype boards.
The 0.100" pitch and row spacing define the PCB footprint: a 20-position, dual-row layout with 0.100" between pins and 0.100" between rows.
For a wire-to-board application, pair it with the matching BERGSTIK crimp receptacle and terminals (sold separately). The through-hole solder termination requires wave or hand soldering; no press-fit tooling is needed.
