Board-to-Board Routing with the 14-Pin Dubox™ Receptacle
Through-hole solder termination anchors the connector into the board, providing mechanical strength for repeated mating cycles. The tin-plated posts (78.7µin) handle the solder joint without wicking issues.
Sizing the Stack Height and Footprint
In a mezzanine configuration, the board-to-board gap must accommodate this height plus any component keep-outs on the facing side. Compared to the 20-position sibling 76342-310LF, this 14-position version fits lower-density signal sets on the same pitch and row spacing — the footprint scales linearly with position count, so a BOM change to 20 positions requires a board layout revision.
Production Status and Compliance
The phosphor bronze contacts with gold mating finish provide reliable signal paths in automotive, industrial, and telecom applications.
The push-pull retention means the header should have a matching profile — no latch or locking ramp required. The tin-plated posts are compatible with lead-free reflow profiles. The blue insulation color aids visual identification during assembly.
