This 44-position dual-row receptacle from the Dubox series mates with a matching 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch pin header to create a board-to-board mezzanine stack. Tin-plated mating contacts at 78.7 µinch thickness handle a few dozen insertion cycles — adequate for production assembly and occasional field service, but not for repeated reconnection duty. The push-pull fastening keeps the pair together under light vibration; for higher shock loads, a header with locking latches would be a better fit. The through-hole solder termination anchors the receptacle to the PCB with a 0.114" (2.90 mm) post length, which provides a solid mechanical joint for the board edge or mid-board location.
