Tin-Plated Contact Duty
The 76384-405LF: Both the mating face and the solder post carry 78.7 µinch (2.00 µm) tin plating. Tin is cost-effective for moderate reconnect duty — expect about 50 mating cycles before fretting corrosion raises contact resistance. For applications requiring frequent field service, a gold-plated sibling in the Dubox series is a better fit.
The 76384 base number covers a single-row, 0.100" pitch Dubox header family. For a 6-position version with identical plating and lock, the 76384-406LF is a direct sibling.
