The 77311-427-00LF: This is a BERGSTIK® series unshrouded header from Amphenol ICC (FCI), designed for board-to-board stacking where the mating receptacle sits on a parallel PCB. The operating range from -65°C to 125°C covers thermal cycling from cold storage to under-hood heat, making it suitable for industrial and automotive environments where the header sees wide temperature swings.
Tin-Plated Contacts, 78.7 µinch, for Moderate-Cycle Duty
Tin is the cost-effective choice for connectors that mate a few dozen times over the product life — it does not match the cycle life of gold, but the thick plating resists corrosion in clean indoor environments. The 0.260" (6.60 mm) mating length and 0.105" (2.67 mm) post length give a total contact length of 0.465" (11.81 mm), which sets the board-to-board stack height and the depth of the solder joint in the through-hole.
No shrouding or polarization keying — the unshrouded design gives direct pin access but offers no mis-mate protection.
