Board footprint and current ceiling
The tin-plated solder tails (78.7 µinch) are standard for wave-solder wetting; the gold-on-tin boundary at the contact body is sealed by the housing, so no galvanic corrosion risk in normal indoor environments.
Through-hole solder termination: the 0.120" post length suits standard 0.062" PCBs with a wave-solder process; the square pin shape (0.025" nominal) gives a press-fit into the plated through-hole before soldering.
