0.100" Pitch, 8 Positions, 3 A — BERGSTIK Breakaway Header
The 77313-127-08LF: The tin tails solder reliably into plated through-holes without additional flux compatibility concerns. The housing material is rated UL94 V-0, so the header can be used in equipment requiring a flame-retardant enclosure.
Unshrouded Push-Pull Interface — Mating Half Requirements
The mating half must provide its own retention (friction lock, latch, or screw) and alignment. Typical mates are standard 0.100" pitch IDC sockets, crimp receptacles, or board-to-board receptacles with a matching 0.025" square pin cavity. The 0.260" mating length provides sufficient wipe for standard box-type receptacles; the 0.105" post length fits 0.062" to 0.093" thick PCBs with through-hole solder joints.
Active Production — Sourcing and Lifecycle
Sourced through independent distribution channels.
Peer Comparison — 8 vs 10 Positions, Same Footprint
If the BOM calls for 8 positions and the 10-position variant is available, the extra two positions can be left unpopulated (the header is breakaway). The 77313-118-08LF shares the same 8-position count and gold plating but has a shorter overall contact length of 0.450" (11.43mm) — verify the mating pin length if stack height is constrained.
