The 0.095" post length is short, so the solder tail doesn't protrude far past the board bottom; fine for single-sided boards but tight if you're routing traces on the bottom layer under the header.
Plating and Compliance — Why the Tin-Lead Matters
This is a legacy plating — not RoHS-compliant for new equipment placed on the EU market after 2006. If you're maintaining existing product or have a RoHS exemption, it's fine; for new designs, you'll need a tin or gold-plated equivalent.
Sourcing Reality — Obsolete, but Available
