Board Fit and Pin Count
The 77313-427-12LF: The dual-row layout packs the pins without widening the board footprint. Unshrouded design means the square pins are exposed; the mating half provides the keying and polarization. This keeps the header footprint small and the board-edge clearance tight.
Current, Temperature, and Plating
Rated 3 A per contact with tin plating at 78.7 µinch (2.00 µm) on both the mating face and the solder post. Tin is cost-effective for low-cycle signal duty — expect a few hundred mating cycles before contact resistance starts to drift. The UL94 V-0 thermoplastic housing holds its flame rating across that range.
Overall contact length is 0.465" (11.81 mm), giving a 0.260" (6.60 mm) mating pin that engages the receptacle contact fully. Push-pull fastening — no latch, so the header relies on the receptacle's retention for vibration resistance. In high-shock environments, pair it with a locking receptacle or add a wire-to-board strain relief.
