Tin is cost-effective for low-cycle signal duty — expect a few hundred mating cycles before contact resistance starts to drift. The UL94 V-0 thermoplastic housing holds its flame rating across that range.

Push-pull fastening — no latch, so the header relies on the receptacle's retention for vibration resistance.
