The insulation height is 0.190" (4.83mm), so the mated stack height depends on the mating receptacle's profile. The breakaway design lets the assembler snap the 72-position strip to the exact circuit count needed — the board footprint and pitch are shared across the BERGSTIK® series, so a 36-position or 64-position segment uses the same contact system.
