18-position shrouded header with friction lock
The 78207-418HLF is the 18-circuit member of Amphenol ICC (FCI)'s Mini-PV™, Basics+ shrouded header line, designed for board-to-cable/wire applications. It carries tin-plated mating contacts (100.0µin, 2.54µm) on a 0.100" (2.54mm) dual-row pitch, with a shrouded 2-wall housing, friction lock, and UL94 V-0 rated black insulation.
Pitch and lock selection notes
The 0.100" (2.54mm) mating and row pitch defines the board footprint — a standard 0.100" grid pattern shared across the Mini-PV™ series, so the position count is the primary selection variable. The friction lock and keying slot prevent accidental disengagement under vibration; the shrouded 2-wall design protects the mating pins during handling and blind-mating.
