The 78208-106HLF: Contact mating length is 0.230" (5.84mm) and the post length below the insulator is 0.120" (3.05mm) – the post length determines the through-hole solder tail protrusion and the board thickness the header can accommodate.
Gold Mating Finish and Temperature Range
At this plating thickness the header is rated for repeated mating cycles – suitable for field-service connections where the harness is disconnected quarterly or more often. The insulator is glass-filled PCT with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating – the housing will not sustain flame in equipment that requires a fire-rated enclosure.
Keying Slot and Mating Half
A keying slot in the housing prevents mis-mating with non-compatible receptacles – the header accepts only the matching Mini-PV™ receptacle that carries the corresponding key. The friction lock engages with the receptacle's locking ramp. For a complete wire-to-board connection, pair this header with the appropriate Mini-PV™ crimp receptacle housing and terminals.
