It uses a 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch and through-hole solder termination, making it a standard pin-strip header for board-to-board or wire-to-board interconnect on a perf-board or custom PCB layout. Gold or GXT™ plating at 15.0 µin (0.38 µm) on the mating surface gives it a solid mating cycle life for repeated connect-disconnect in test fixtures or modular assemblies.
The 0.100" pitch is the classic DIP/IC footprint spacing — this header drops into a standard 0.100" grid, so board layout is straightforward with no custom pad pattern needed. The 0.318" (8.08mm) mating pin length gives enough reach to clear a shrouded receptacle or a double-stack PCB. The 0.120" (3.05mm) solder post is on the short side — it suits a standard 0.062" PCB but won't protrude far enough for a thick backplane or a board with a heavy ground plane that needs a long solder fillet. The UL94 V-0 black polyamide housing is the baseline for equipment inside an enclosure; no special flame-rating concern.
As an unshrouded header, this mates with any standard 0.100" pitch single-row receptacle housing that accepts 0.025" square pins — common mates include the Amphenol FCI Dubox or BergStik receptacle lines, or generic pin-strip sockets. Termination is solder-only — through-hole for hand-solder or wave-solder assembly.
