The Molex 78511-406 is a 6-circuit unshrouded male pin header from the BergStik II series, built for board-to-board interconnects on a standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch. It carries tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts rated 5A per circuit, terminated through-hole with solder tails, and housed in a UL94 V-0 rated black insulator rated for -65°C to 125°C operation.
The 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch is the classic breadboard-compatible spacing — any board layout engineer will recognise this as the footprint for standard perfboard or 0.1" grid prototyping.
The through-hole solder termination suits wave-solder assembly or hand-soldering into plated through-holes. The 0.120" (3.05mm) post length is sized for standard 0.062" (1.6mm) PCBs.
