The Amphenol BERGSTIK® II 79425-124HLF is a 24-position, dual-row unshrouded board-to-board header on a standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch. The 0.100" row spacing mirrors the pin pitch, giving a clean grid that routes easily on a 0.100"-grid prototype board or production PCB.
The 30.0 µ" (0.76 µm) gold or Gold GXT™ plating on the mating surface gives it a solid mating cycle life — well into the hundreds of mates before wear-through — making it a good fit for a board that gets reworked or a test fixture. The phosphor bronze contact material springs back reliably under repeated insertion. The 0.190" (4.83 mm) mating pin length gives enough wipe for a positive contact in most standard receptacles. The 0.120" (3.05 mm) solder post length suits standard 0.062" to 0.093" PCBs — the post protrudes far enough for a good solder fillet without bottoming out on the opposite side.
