Product Introduction
It uses a standard 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch and row spacing, mating with a matching receptacle to create a separable connection between PCBs.
Rated 5 A per contact at 110 V, with a UL94 V-0 rated black thermoplastic housing. The unshrouded design exposes the 0.190" (4.83 mm) mating pin length, which requires the mating receptacle to provide the necessary polarization and alignment. Contact finish is 100.0 µin (2.54 µm) tin on the mating surface and tin on the solder post — adequate for moderate mating cycle counts in controlled environments. The 0.120" (3.05 mm) solder post length suits standard through-hole PCB thicknesses.
This header is intended for internal board-to-board connections where the mating pair is housed within an enclosure — typical in industrial control boards, test equipment, and computing peripherals. The tin plating and unshrouded format suit applications with limited mating cycles and no exposure to corrosive atmospheres or high vibration.
The 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch and row spacing define the board footprint. The 110 V rating is a conservative limit for the air gap between unshrouded pins.
