Rated 5A per circuit at 25°C with a 110V voltage rating, it handles signal and light power duty on a PCB. The tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts (100µin on the mating surface) mate with matching 0.025" square receptacle terminals.
The 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch is the de facto standard for 0.1" grid prototyping and matches the vast majority of BergStik-compatible receptacles. For a board-to-board interconnect that mates once and stays, this is fine. For a field-serviceable harness with frequent reconnects, consider a gold-plated variant.
