All 18 positions are loaded with square male pins in phosphor bronze, finished with 100.0µin (2.54µm) of tin on the mating surface and tin on the solder posts.
The 0.100" pitch is the bread-and-butter through-hole spacing — your board footprint is a standard 0.100" grid with 0.100" row spacing, so the layout work is already done by decades of DIP and header patterns. For a permanent board-to-board join or a connector that mates once and stays, tin is fine. For repeated disconnect in a field-service harness, you'd want the gold-plated sibling in the same series. The 110V rating is conservative for the 0.100" creepage distance; it's fine for logic-level and low-voltage power, but don't push it near the limit in humid environments without conformal coating.
The through-hole solder termination gives a reliable mechanical anchor — the 0.200" (5.08mm) post length is long enough for a solid solder fillet on a standard 0.062" board. The overall contact length of 0.730" (18.54mm) with a 0.430" (10.92mm) mating length means the pin protrudes well into the mating receptacle for good contact wipe.
