The Amphenol 79821-428HLF is a 28-position, dual-row BergStik® II unshrouded header with a 0.100" (2.54 mm) mating pitch and matching row spacing. The square male pins are phosphor bronze with a 100.0 µ" (2.54 µm) tin plating on the mating surface and tin on the solder tails.

Rated 5 A per contact at 110 V, the current capacity is typical for a 0.100" pitch header with tin-plated contacts — the limiting factor is temperature rise through the housing, not the contact beam itself. The 0.430" (10.92 mm) mating length and 0.200" (5.08 mm) post length give a total contact length of 0.730" (18.54 mm), which sets the board-to-board stack height when mated with a standard BergStik receptacle.
As an unshrouded header, this part mates with any standard BergStik II or compatible 0.100" pitch dual-row receptacle housing that accepts 0.025" square pins. Through-hole solder termination gives a reliable mechanical anchor for the 28 pins; the 0.200" post length fits standard PCB thicknesses.
