It uses the standard 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch in both rows and between rows, matching the legacy DIP footprint that board layout engineers know well. The through-hole solder tails are 0.120" (3.05 mm) long — enough for a standard 0.062" board with room for a wave solder fillet.
Within the BERGSTIK® II family, the 86503-162HLF is the 62-position loaded-all variant.
This unshrouded header mates with any standard 0.100" pitch dual-row socket or female connector that accepts 0.025" square pins. The 0.250" (6.35 mm) mating pin length gives the receptacle enough wipe for reliable contact. No secondary lock or CPA is present — the push-pull fastening type means retention depends entirely on the mating receptacle's contact normal force.
