Rated 5A per contact at 110V, this is a signal-duty header — the 30.0µin (0.76µm) gold plating on the mating surface gives it good cycle life for repeated connect/disconnect in test or field-service scenarios.
The 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch is the bread-and-butter spacing for through-hole boards — it gives enough room for one trace between pads on a standard 2-layer board. The 32 positions are arranged in two rows of 16, with a row spacing of 0.100" (2.54mm), so the board footprint is a 2x16 grid. The 110V voltage rating is adequate for most logic-level and low-voltage I/O, but not for mains or high-voltage bus work. Gold or Gold, GXT™ plating at 30.0µin (0.76µm) on the mating contact finish is a solid choice for applications that see 50–200 mating cycles. GXT is Amphenol's enhanced gold alloy, which resists wear and corrosion better than standard gold in dusty or mildly corrosive environments. The solder tails are tin-plated (per the BERGSTIK® II standard), which is compatible with lead-free wave solder processes.
Mounting and Orientation
This is a through-hole, right-angle header. The contact length on the mating side is 0.318" (8.08mm), and the post length (the solder tail) is 0.230" (5.84mm).
