Board-to-Board Header for Standard Grid Layouts
The Amphenol FCI 87052-142HLF is a 42-position, dual-row unshrouded male pin header from the BERGSTIK® II series, designed for board-to-board interconnects on a standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch grid. It carries 5A per circuit at 110V and uses through-hole solder termination for reliable attachment to the PCB. The unshrouded design gives you direct access to the pins for probing or mating with a standard receptacle housing.
Pitch and Footprint Fit
The 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch between pins and the 0.100" (2.54mm) row spacing match the classic through-hole grid used on prototyping boards, backplanes, and standard IC footprints. The overall contact length of 0.990" (25.15mm) includes a 0.770" (19.56mm) mating pin and a 0.120" (3.05mm) solder tail — the post length is short enough for standard 0.062" (1.6mm) PCBs without bottoming out in the plated hole.
Ratings and Construction
The UL94 V-0 black insulation handles the heat without supporting flame, which matters when the board sits inside an enclosure that requires a flammability rating.
