It uses a standard 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch on both rows and contacts, with a 0.100" row spacing that matches legacy 0.100" grid prototyping and production boards. The contacts are square phosphor bronze pins with 30.0 µ" (0.76 µm) gold or GXT™ plating on the mating surface, rated for 5 A per contact at 110 V. The header is through-hole solder-terminated with a 0.120" (3.05 mm) post length, and the housing is rated UL94 V-0.
The 0.100" pitch is the de facto industry standard for 2.54 mm grid boards — your footprint is a straight row of 48 plated through holes at that spacing, no special keep-outs.
This unshrouded header mates with any standard 0.100" pitch IDC socket or female header that accepts square pins — the 0.770" (19.56 mm) mating length gives plenty of wipe for a reliable connection.
