It uses a 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch on both the pin-to-pin and row-to-row spacing, which matches the legacy 0.100" grid common on prototype boards and standard card-edge footprints.
Construction and fit
Through-hole solder termination with a 0.120" (3.05 mm) post length — the tail is long enough for standard 0.062" boards but will protrude through thicker backplanes. Overall contact length is 0.990" (25.15 mm). Phosphor bronze contact material with a square pin profile. The housing is UL 94 V-0 rated black thermoplastic. Push-pull fastening — no latch, so the retention comes entirely from the friction of the pin-and-receptacle interface.
