The Amphenol 87052-422HLF is a 22-position, dual-row unshrouded header from the BERGSTIK® II series, built for board-to-board interconnects on the standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch. All positions are loaded with square tin-plated phosphor bronze pins, terminated by through-hole solder.
Footprint and layout fit
The overall contact length of 0.990" (25.15mm) and a mating length of 0.770" (19.56mm) mean the header stands tall off the board — check your enclosure clearance before committing. The post length is 0.120" (3.05mm), sufficient for a standard 0.062" board with a solder fillet.
Tin-plated contacts — what that means
If your design sees frequent field service or high-vibration, you'd want gold on the mating side; here, the thick tin layer gives good corrosion resistance for indoor equipment. The 5A rating is derated above ambient; the UL94 V-0 housing handles the temperature rise.
