The Amphenol BERGSTIK® II 87052-430HLF is a 30-circuit, dual-row, unshrouded pin header on the standard 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch. The header is unshrouded, meaning there is no plastic alignment wall around the pins; the mating receptacle or plug must align to the pin field without a guide, which is typical for BERGSTIK headers used in parallel-board stacking or as a wire-to-board interface when mated with a crimp housing. Rated at 5 A per contact and 110 V, this header is sized for signal and low-power distribution on a PCB — the 5 A per circuit is the thermal limit at the rated temperature rise, so a full 30-circuit load at 5 A each would require careful trace width planning on the board. The UL94 V-0 insulation material (black) is standard for equipment housed inside an enclosure that requires flammability rating.
Compared to the 30-position BERGSTIK II header with a gold-plated mating finish, the 87052-430HLF uses tin on the mating surface. The tin finish is cost-effective for one-time or very infrequent mating, but if your application requires repeated disconnect/reconnect cycles, the gold-plated sibling is the better choice to avoid fretting corrosion and contact resistance drift. The board footprint is identical; the decision is purely about mating cycle life and environmental exposure.
Common mating halves include BERGSTIK II receptacle housings or industry-standard 0.100" pitch ribbon cable sockets.
