BERGSTIK II 3-Pin Unshrouded Header
It uses the industry-standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch, making it footprint-compatible with breadboards, perfboards, and standard 0.1" header receptacles. This is a board-to-board interconnect — the long 1.043" (26.49mm) mating pin length allows it to reach through a mating receptacle and into a second PCB or a wire-to-board housing.
Rated 5A per contact at 110V, this header can handle a low-power rail or signal line on each pin — the current limit is set by the contact itself, not the housing, so a 5A load is safe as long as the PCB trace and mating contact are rated accordingly. The 30.0µin (0.76µm) gold plating on the mating surface is a heavy-duty finish — it resists corrosion and maintains low contact resistance through repeated mating cycles, which matters if this header sits on a test point or a field-serviceable board. The 0.100" (2.54mm) insulation height keeps the profile low on the board.
Mating and Footprint
As an unshrouded header with a push-pull fastening type, it mates with any standard 0.100" pitch female socket or receptacle housing that accepts 0.025" square pins. The 1.043" (26.49mm) mating pin length gives plenty of reach for stacking boards or connecting to a wire-to-board housing. The 0.095" (2.41mm) solder post length is typical for a standard 0.062" thick PCB — the post extends through the board far enough for a reliable solder fillet.
